  • Overview and Responsibilities

    Viacom is in the midst of a business transformation and we are continually evolving, innovating and building a world class office of Transformation. There are a number of strategic and transformational initiatives that Viacom is actively pursuing which are focused on effectiveness, revenue growth and operating expense reduction. Led by Viacom’s Chief Transformation Officer, the Transformation Office will be responsible for identifying and executing revenue and cost initiatives consistent with Viacom’s forward-looking strategic plan. 


    The "Senior Manager – Business Transformation” will report into two “SVP – Business Transformation” and be an integral part of the Transformation Office.  You will be an active participant in all the initiatives that the Office will be pursuing across the Company aimed at reducing cost and/or growing revenue.  You will work with the teams in analyzing and estimating the impact that each initiative would have in the company.  As the initiatives progress, you will be responsible for “owning” the estimates for the Office and linking them back to the Financial Planning and Analysis and Controllership departments to ensure they show up in the Company’s P&L and Forecasts.




    • Own the Transformation Office’s “master list” for all the initiatives
    • Participate in developing accurate estimates for future initiatives
    • Be connected to all teams within the Transformation Office, as well as Sourcing and HR to ensure that estimates are accurate and up to date
    • Be the key contact/link to FP&A and Controllership departments to ensure that the Office’s estimates show up in the Company’s P&L and Forecasts
    • Support the Transformation Office’s teams as required in the execution of initiatives
    • Help the teams facilitate the creation of multi-year value creation strategies, driving cost reduction and/or revenue growth
    • Support a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization
    • Stay abreast of process trends and leading practices occurring in the marketplace and work with management to facilitate strategic direction and process enhancement
    • Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 4+ years of work experience with a focus on finance
    • Great attention to detail, particularly around accuracy of financial numbers
    • Great understanding of accounting principles (I.e. elements of the income statement and balance sheet and understanding expensing vs. capitalizing)
    • Adept at using databases and Excel

    Additional Qualifications

    • Experience at a consulting organization or in-house consulting organization in a Fortune 100 company a plus
