Our Procurement Ops team is growing!  This role will be focused on managing our contracts and procurement contract database.


    Reporting to the Vice President, Procurement Operations, the Contract Manager will be responsible for the development of Viacom’s Procurement Contract management strategy and related implementation.  This individual will partner with category sourcing leads and the vendor manager to proactively monitor our contracts.


    This individual will be expected to support the existing sourcing team by building strong partnerships with category sourcing leads, as well as the vendor manager, and operate as the lead and subject matter expert on contract management.


    Role Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain the administration of the procurement contract database
    • Establish systems and methods to efficiently process vendor contracts and legal documents
    • Review executed contracts to validate contract completeness
    • Design and develop ad hoc reports to make use of the contract database information for distribution to various levels of Management, Legal, and Business
    • Liaise with the sourcing team to develop a process to collect executed contracts and key in meta-data to build out an electronic procurement contract database
    • Track critical contract performance indicators (i.e. payment terms, delivery terms, spend, pricing, etc.)
    • Interface with appropriate vendor management and/or other contract management points of contact
    • Bring contract management best practices and key trends to continually drive innovation, optimize performance and efficiency, and improve user experience

    Basic Qualifications

    • 4-6 years of relevant experience in contract management and eSourcing/Sourcing
    • Demonstrated experience in developing contract management strategies and executing across the organization
    • Bachelor’s degree required

    Additional Qualifications

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and anticipate needs
    • Experience in Ariba solutions is desirable
    • Media & Entertainment industry expertise is highly desirable
