The MTV/VH1/CMT Insights & Strategy team exists to understand consumers and culture, ensuring they are at the center of everything we do. Our purpose is to stay on top of media and generational trends, by consulting syndicated research and conducting custom quantitative and qualitative research, to craft guidelines that lead to more meaningful connections with audiences and ultimately more time spent with our brands.
We are currently looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Insights and Strategy that will report into the Vice President of Marketing Insights and Strategy. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge and real passion for media, entertainment and consumer insight. This role will be primarily responsible for monitoring brand health and audience trends for MTV/VH1/CMT, as well as keeping a finger on the pulse of what’s happening and most effective in the media marketing landscape, more broadly. The Sr. Manager role will serve as a key resource for various stakeholders across Marketing, Brand/Creative, Event, Digital and Social Media, providing recommendations backed with qualitative and quantitative research. Research projects will support marketing needs across linear, social and digital platforms, as well as some more long-term strategic projects related to maximizing brand, creative, and marketing effectiveness.
