    Advertising is being reinvented through big data, audience segmentation tools, digital platforms and formats as well as new consumer consumption patterns. Viacom is forefront of this reinvention of advertising, with a broad range of products and programs designed to connect with Viacom’s fans in whatever environments and on whatever platforms are most meaningful to them.

    In this role, you will work with a team of data scientists as well as pricing and inventory and sales to create and implement optimized cross-platform media plans that deliver on client goals.

    Overview and Responsibilities

    • Use cutting-edge optimization platforms to create media plans against advanced audience that deliver on client goals
    • Provide detailed data points and analysis of optimized media plans to sales to inform proposal generation
    • Inventory management and plan execution
    • Monitor and track cross-platform delivery and campaign metrics
    • Provide day to day operational support
    • Provide feedback to product managers feature improvements

    Basic Qualifications

    • 3-6 years working in media buying, planning or client services
    • Expert in understanding and analyzing media metrics
    • Ability to analyze data, develop insights and clearly communicate the impact of varying data points
    • Experience maintaining, implementing and tracking cross-platform campaigns
    • Deep knowledge of advertising ecosystem
    • Fluent in excel

    • Passion for problem-solving and the ability to find answers to difficult questions
    • Ability to work across multiple teams
    • Highly organized with the ability to handle projects, prioritize actions, deadlines, and anticipate solutions
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
