Overview and Responsibilities

The Nickelodeon digital team is seeking an exceptional product lead to manage a team of product managers responsible for the Nick digital portfolio, which includes the Nick app on six platforms (and growing!) and Our mission is to make the world a more playful place and we believe our digital experiences are one of our best opportunities to do this. But we will only achieve this if we’re doing our best creative work—making a mess, having fun, experimenting a lot, keeping it fresh, and finding the kid inside us.

The director of product for Nick is a complex but exciting role that requires good judgment to know where to spend your time. Some days you will spend on product vision and roadmap—pointing everyone in a direction that results in better entertainment for kids, and striking the optimal balance between focusing on “the now” vs. “what’s next.” Other days you may focus on your organization of (for now) three product managers—setting a tone of positivity, creativity, inclusiveness, accountability, new approaches and high-performance.  And in between those moments you will be an ambassador of your product to stakeholders and peers, and an ambassador of your stakeholders’ and peers’ POVs to your product team.

In success, your products are uniquely Nickelodeon and entertain kids better than anything else in the world.
