  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The Junior Project Manager position plays an integral role within the Catalyst team managing projects, schedules, trafficking and the fulfillment of project requests. Under the direction of the Account Director, the Jr Project Manager will support the job initiation process, workflow and scheduling of job requests for print, video, digital and merchandise projects. This person will work with project managers to provide traffic and project management support within the account services team and Catalyst department.

    • Communicate key dates, action items and updates with team members and internal clients to ensure timely delivery of projects to maximize efficiency and quality of work on a daily basis
    • Route/Traffic projects within the Catalyst department between project management, production and creative to meet established deadlines
    • Partner with Production and Creative to support the process of acquiring images and logos from brand teams for specific project and general department use and help in the maintenance of the DAM system
    • Collaborate with project managers to keep workflow moving smoothly from planning, execution and to delivery
    • Establish partnerships with clients to support a positive communication process and workflow between departments
    • Partner with project managers, creative, video and production teams to ensure key due dates are met and project delivers on time in the most efficient manner
    • Work with Senior Account Director leads in the development and standardization of processes and procedures
    • Help facilitate the set-up brainstorming, internal & client kickoff meetings and meeting notes/action item recap for large-scale events
    • Partner with Account Team Members to support the project management of large-scale projects such as trade or company wide initiatives, processing invoices and estimates
    • Support the onboarding process of new staff members and clients using the project management system
    • Distribute production schedules by email and/or hardcopy to key team members on a weekly basis
    • Closeout job requests within the project management system
    • Oversee and handle the distribution of digital assets and process image requests from clients and vendors

    Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum 3-5 years project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects from initiation through completion in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong understanding of creative development and projects across a variety of media
    • Experience managing integrated projects, timelines and resources using project management software
       

    Additional Qualifications

    • Must work well under pressure, prioritizing projects according to changing deadlines
    • Must have strong writing, communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team player
    • Must be solutions and results-oriented, flexible and able to maintain composure
