Overview and Responsibilities

The Manager, Digital Platorm will be responsible for managing strategic platform sales partnerships across Viacom Media Networks Digital Portfolio of Brands [MTV, VH1, COMEDYCENTRAL, AND NICKELODEON].  The Manager will work across multiple sales channels and with multiple third party platform partnerships for Video, Display and Programmatic Sales.  The ideal candidate will be a highly strategic individual who possesses strong quantitative & analytical skills, inherent curiosity in the digital media space, excellent client relationship skills and a desire to learn in a fast-paced industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • Act as subject matter expert to Sales teams on all programmatic and data driven sales channels
  • Build strategic relationships and drive revenue through key decision makers at agency trading desks, DSP's, exchanges, etc.
  • Manage all functions of programmatic advertising revenue generation including, but not limited to, ad stack setup and strategy, demand partner selection and evaluation, yield optimization, overseeing the development & management of private marketplace relationships
  • Manage the day to day relations and responsibilities with third party partners including; onboarding, campaign management, revenue forecasting, internal and external stakeholder management, reporting and billing reconciliation
  • Work with inventory & delivery teams to effectively forecast supply & demand
  • Work closely with key internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing compliance with Viacom business processes and policies

Additional Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or other analytically and quantitatively focused field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an Agency Trading Desk, DSP / SSP or Publisher
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills; ability to publicly present ideas and share information
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, external clients and 3rd party vendors
  • Demonstrate proficiency in mathematical calculations and spreadsheet-based analysis. Must have MS Excel proficiency
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to manage and prioritize the needs of multiple customers
  • Knowledge of DFP, FreeWheel, SSPs and Programmatic selling; other ad-serving platforms and rich media vendors a plus
