The Partner Development team is responsible for Viacom’s Addressable TV (Linear, Digital, VOD and Apps) Advertising platforms. As a VP of Partner Development, you will own and oversee the Business Development & Partnerships of new and existing platforms that are used to deliver and improve efficiency of Linear and Digital Addressable TV inventory. The role of the leader will work across Viacom’s Ad Sales team, Technology Providers, and MVPDs. Stakeholders (Vantage and Ad Sales) will look to the team for insights and expertise relating to Data Capabilities of the platform, integrations, and Analysis of Audience Data.


Responsibilities include:


  • Develop, Define, and Prioritize Business strategies for Viacom’s Addressable TV initiatives
  • Bring cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and make recommendations on partnerships
  • Developing and maintaining contracts for our Ad Solution products
  • Be a Trusted Partner with Viacom’s Digital Ad Sales, Vantage, and Technology Teams
  • Act as Viacom’s Advocate in negotiation agreements with distributors and vendors
  • Work to further deepen relationships with Viacom’s partners in the ad-tech ecosystem
  • Manage vendor and partner performance to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Support sales teams by participating in client presentations to showcase product capabilities and value

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous Advertising Solutions or Ad Tech Products experience
  • Familiarity with Data-Driven, Addressable TV marketing space and the role it plays
  • Experience in partnering with sales/product teams and successfully work well across multiple groups to achieve business outcomes
  • External client management skills and the ability to negotiate with distributors and vendors
  • Strong technical acumen that supports your work and being able to size the markets for our products and report regularly on the competitive landscape
  • Willingness to learn and own what we do. Breadth of our products, how we develop them, and where we take them to market

Additional Qualifications

  • Proven experience to formulate ways to overcome obstacles and will fight for newly developed products
  • Experience identifying issues and turning them into opportunities
  • Expertise in contract management and the ability to understand complex issues
  • Knowledge on identity management systems that helps resolve identities and recognize consumers
