Overview and Responsibilities

The Admin Assistant will report to the VP of Multiplatform Production and support the Multiplatform Production team at Viacom Media Networks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working collaboratively at a large, multi-layered organization. He/she will work closely with many support groups within the department and elsewhere at Viacom.



  • Manage day-to-day operations of team
  • Track all freelancer contracts and timesheets
  • Manage calendars, vacation and holiday coverage, T&E and phones
  • Organize meetings, meeting agenda's and meeting materials
  • Focus on problem solving, process and efficiency
  • Work with team to help improve process, workflow, documentation, and tools
  • Be the main conduit for information within the group, as well as the larger organization

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of Admin Assistant experience, supporting a senior executive
  • Bachelor's Degree


Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task in a high pressure, fast moving environment
  • Strong intuition and ability to anticipate supervisor needs
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled problem solver and time manager
  • Ability to handle confidential information
