    Nickelodeon Velocity is a full service marketing partner for Nickelodeon advertising clients. We develop award-winning, insight-driven branded content, creative, social media campaigns and on ground experiences on behalf of our partners. We work with some of the most renowned brands in the world, and we represent some of the most iconic IP in entertainment. Our job is to ensure that Nickelodeon’s mission – to make the world a more playful place – is represented in every marketing campaign for our partners.

     

    The Nickelodeon Velocity Vice President of Strategic Planning + Operations is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, operations, communications, training, marketing and process of the Nickelodeon Velocity team.

     

    The VP will identify business needs and implement plans to support them. From refining positioning of Nickelodeon Velocity to creating models for account category analysis to communicating our marketing and creative success to defining process and adapting it where necessary, this role will enable excellence across the entire division.

     

    This role is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with multiple Nickelodeon divisions and Nickelodeon Velocity senior leadership, and to help define the culture and character of the Nickelodeon Velocity team.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Refine Nickelodeon Velocity positioning to the ad marketplace and oversee development of supporting materials 
    • Spearhead process and role definition across partner marketing, creative, production management and project management
    • Serve as point person for larger Nickelodeon presentations for external partners, ensuring the Nick Velocity perspective and capabilities are represented
    • Communicate wins, campaign launches, industry news both internally and externally
    • Lead business intelligence efforts, coordinating with consumer insights and research to develop model for category analysis and ROI
    • Manage budgets
    • Create and ensure timely delivery of tracking reports for all priority initiatives to senior leadership
    • Consistently monitor health of our internal processes and identify new ways to create efficiency while maintaining creative quality
    • Lead creation and refining of staff training materials and ongoing process materials and templates
    • Work with SVP, Nickelodeon Velocity on priority presentations and executive communications
    • Represent Nickelodeon Velocity in senior-level meetings

    Basic Qualifications

    • 10-12 years of experience working in strategic planning role, preferably in marketing or with an advertising agency
    • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
